Wedding Flowers Photoshoot

This was quite an interesting brief: we received a phone from a lovely lady, quickly met up in the hotel and within 5 minutes we finalised the idea. We were quite surprised, too! A wedding flowers photoshoot in making! In 3 weeks!

The beautiful Crowne Plaza hotel is situated not far from our studio in Battersea, right by the river. Its views are quite spectacular! Not often does one see the Chelsea Helipad at one’s feet, river Thames in front of you and yet, you’re inside of a quiet and very luxurious hotel. The wedding rooms were quite large and needed a lot of flowers to wow in pictures. So we did what we loved the most – picked from the rich and dark colours, paired them with different hues, shades and pastels of greens, added a spruce of mint and rose here and there… And so the concept was formed – modern bride that loves garden flowers and enjoys her London wedding in a serene location by the river will get the look she wants.

The large candelabras stand proud in the middle of the tables and invite the guests to sit down and enjoy their wedding dinner. All arrangements have a garden feel and smelled beautifully across the whole venue – with sweet and perfumed garden roses and mints. What’s more to love? The hotel wedding planners were amazed – and us? Proud as always and happy to see our clients smile 🙂

Emma & Jake’s Horniman Museum Wedding

Protea and Eucalyptus Wedding Bouquet

You are in a good company

Horniman Museum Wedding Ceremony & Bethnal Green Town Hall Reception

It was a Saturday morning, a sunny and warm day, when we met up with for the first time with the bride in the Horniman Museum. Emma electrified us with her choice of the venue, the gorgeous greenhouse in the picturesque park in the south of London. What a stunning location for a wedding it was, we thought!

The gardens and the wedding greenhouse are a gem of South London. Without a doubt, the Grade II listed conservatory is one of most favourite wedding venues for London couples.

During our meet up, Emma described to us the perfect setup and decorations of the venue. The unusual building, its pastel coloured flooring and the vintage chairs should subtly complement the foliage aisle decorations and the copper floral arch. We proposed to use exotic flowers and greenery for all floral decorations in the Horniman Museum. After the ceremony, the wedding couple headed to Bethnal Green Town Hall to continue their wedding celebrations. There, upon the wish of Emma, we built a eucalyptus and succulents table runner, and complimented the decoration with papyrus and palm trees.

The floral arch hosted the wedding couple during the service, while the eucalyptus aisle decorations invited the guests to enjoy the celebration. The wedding bouquet and bridesmaids’ bouquet complemented the Horniman Museum’s look – grand but relaxed, Victorian but modern.

Meanwhile, the groom and his best men carried buttonholes made with exotic foliage, while enjoying the Bethnal Green Town Hall wedding venue decorations. What a day, and what a couple! 🙂
